Drummoyne Water Polo Club – Head Coach Men
Drummoyne Water Polo Club (DWPC) is built on the values of participation, competition and community. Formed in 1904, it is one of Australia’s largest water polo clubs with over 25 teams from junior boys and girls to Australia Water Polo League (AWL) men’s and women’s teams. DWPC is supported by an enthusiastic extended community of supporters, volunteers and sponsors in one of the idyllic waterfront water polo pool venues in Sydney.
DWPC is seeking a suitably qualified, experienced and enthusiastic head coach for our men’s water polo program. The successful candidate will be responsible for the senior men’s program including AWL and 1st Division teams, working closely with the assistant head coach and junior coaches to ensure a professional and consistent approach is implemented across all of DWPC’s water polo program’s. The position also has a responsibility for mentoring and educating the next generation of water polo players. A proven track record in overseeing and implementing water polo programs within clubs at a high level in Australia or internationally is essential.
You must also have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, be highly organised and have a proven ability to work both independently and within a team environment.
In summary DWPC is looking for someone who is motivated, enthusiastic and genuinely loves the sport of water polo. You could be either an experienced senior coach or a suitably qualified assistant who wants the opportunity to take their coaching career to the next level. If this sounds like you please apply!
