WPA has released the first of many upcoming changes to the coach accreditation program by introducing a new introductory level accreditation – the WPA Community Coach Accreditation Course. This new accreditation level is a short introductory course aimed at parents, students and volunteers – particularly those looking to deliver FlippaBall and School programs. To attend a course to gain this new accreditation, please contact your respective state association.
As part of the review, Water Polo Australia is keen to hear your opinions on the current program and ideas on new opportunities to be considered. Please click the link below to complete the WPA Education Review Survey before 4 January 2017. The survey should take no longer than 10 minutes and will shape the changes made to water polo education.

WPA is calling for assistance from experts within the water polo community to help develop new coach and official education course material. The purpose of the WPA Content Working Group will be to bring together skilled individuals who have the necessary education and course writing expertise as well as flexibility to commit their time to assisting in writing new content and editing existing content for the new course modules. This group will work with subject matter experts and when appointed, the online platform supplier to ensure that quality content is developed consistently and maximises new e-learning functionalities.
