Water polo is a community based sport and we rely on the significant contribution of volunteers to ensure our sport is a success. Volunteering for your local water polo club, or at one of our competitions, is a rewarding experience that allows you to contribute to your community.
There are plenty of different positions to get involved in including
- Team coach – ranging from junior teams, senior teams and championship teams
- Team manager
- Club apparel
- Player liaison
- Coordinators – pool bookings, team travel arrangements, etc
Most clubs provide simple training sessions for those who want to get involved in the above areas.
If you would like to volunteer at a club it is best to contact the club directly to express interest. Many clubs will ask for expressions of interest on registration day or at the AGM.
