Most memorable sporting achievement: Winning a silver medal at the 2013 FINA World Championships

Any relatives/spouses who have competed internationally: Yes, my Grandfather played Schoolboy Rugby for Wales.

What made you choose this sport: I enjoy the combination of ball skills, physicality and teamwork.

Who is the most influential person in your sporting career and why: Jamie Ryan, my first club coach when I was 14 at the Sydney Northern Beaches Breakers. He trained me when I had no experience and helped me get selected for my first U/16 state team. He gave me an understanding of how to play, and love for the sport.

What are your ambitions both during and after your sporting career: An Olympic Gold Medal! After the Olympics, in 2017, I commence a medical degree at the University of Sydney, and I am looking forward to a career in medicine.

Little known, interesting fact about you: I’m descended from King Gregory of Scotland!
