ATHLETE BIO
Nic Porter returns to the Aussie Sharks squad after spending the past few seasons playing college water polo in the USA with USC Trojans.
In 2022, Porter returned home to Australia where he played for the Queensland Thunder in the Australian Waterpolo League.
Porter was part of the Aussie Sharks squad that won silver at the FINA World League Intercontinental Cup in Peru. He will make his World Championships debut for the Aussie Sharks at the Budapest 2022 FINA World Championships.
As part of this training opportunity, Porter worked with Olympian and Croatian goalkeeper Marko Bijac, named best goalkeeper in the world at the 2016 Rio Olympic Games.
