Sydney Youth Festival kicks off this weekend

This weekend will see the launch of the inaugural Sydney Youth Festival,  organised by Water Polo New South Wales, with support from Water Polo New South Wales Events.

Running from 2–6 July 2017, the event will attract competition from all age groups – Under 14 through to Juniors.

Competitors will hail from across Australia as well as international athletes from Thailand, New Zealand and Indonesia.

SYF PNGWater Polo Australia (WPA)  is a proud supporter of the Sydney Youth Festival, and commend the hard work and effort that has been put into organising and launching this event by the Water Polo New South Wales team.

WPA CEO Christian Renford said “The Sydney Youth Festival is an amazing opportunity for our young athletes to compete in a festival environment against not only their local peers, but peers from other nations.

“We welcome the opportunity for our athletes to have access to quality competition against some of the best young players from around the country,” he said.Sydney Olympic Park Aquatic Centre will be the host venue for the Festival, providing quality facilities for both athletes and spectators alike.
