The inaugural U12’s Water Polo Festival kicks off this weekend in Wagga Wagga, NSW with eight boys and eight girls teams attending.

The new event concept is about providing young people with the opportunity to compete against different teams on a national stage and encourage participation and sportsmanship.

In addition to the great competition that will be going on in the pool, competitors, coached and officials will be taking part in the Water Polo Australia #ThinkActPlay program  which is all about showing respect to others and being a good sport.

Dual Olympian Aidan Roach will also be attending, providing young players the chance to hear from the Aussie Sharks player and get advice and tips.  He will also be delivering the #ThinkActPlay program.

Roach will also be manning the Delfina Sport stall, who are proudly partnering with Water Polo Australia and will costumes on sale at the pool.
