HUNGARIAN MEN’S NATIONAL LEAGUE (MALE OB I)

Aussie Sharks captain Aaron Younger helped Hungarian team FTC-Telekom to a comfortable win over MVLC with a double to his name.

CROATIAN MEN’S NATIONAL LEAGUE (PRVA LIGA)

Nathan Power and VK Jadran Split will be eager to return to the pool quickly after a four goal defeat at the hands of HAVK Mladost.

AUSSIE STINGERS

ITALIAN WOMEN’S NATIONAL LEAGUE (CAMPIONATO SERIE A1)

Italian team Plebiscito Padova, home to Aussie Stingers Elle Armit, have gone down by a single goal to NC Vouliameni in the bronze medal playoff for the Women's LEN Euro League competition.

Plebiscito Padova will look to respond positively in their second last national league regular round match this weekend.

GREEK WOMEN’S NATIONAL LEAGUE (A1)

In a heart breaking result for Hannah Buckling, Keesja Gofers and Olympiacos SFP, home side CN Sabadell were too strong in the Women's LEN Euro League gold medal match.

The pair of Aussie Stingers went down by two goals to the Spanish team.

AMERICAN COLLEGE

As part of their playing time at Michigan University, Aussie players Madeleine Steere and Abby Andrews have claimed Most Valuable Player and Rookie of the Year honors as part of the 2019 Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) Division All-Conference Team awards.

Steere was also named in the 2019 CWPA Division All-Conference Teams First Team, while Andrews was listed as part of the CWPA Division All-Conference Teams Second Team.
