After a thrilling home and away season, the Australian Waterpolo League Finals Series gets underway this Wednesday, with the WA Challenge Series before three action packed days of action packed finals. We've got you covered with everything you need to know about how to watch and stay up to date.
When is the 2022 Australian Waterpolo League Finals Series and WA Challenge being held?
The WA Challenge Series is on from 6-7 April at Drummoyne Swim Centre in Sydney, followed by the Australian Waterpolo League Finals at Pymble Ladies College from 8-10 April.
Who is playing and how do I follow the results?
Fremantle Water Polo Club and UWA Torpedoes will head to the East Coast for the first time this season, in a last ditch attempt to qualify for the 2022 Australian Waterpolo League Finals Series.
In the women’s division, they’ll play off against UNSW Wests Killerwhales and ACU Cronulla Sharks, with the top two teams advancing to the finals.
In the men’s, it will be a battle between the two WA sides, and ACU Cronulla Sharks and Queensland Thunder men, with two spots in the finals up for grabs.
Four teams in each gender have already qualified for the Finals Series.
- Women - Queensland Thunder, Sydney Uni Lions, UTS Balmain Tigers and Drummoyne Devils
- Men - UNSW Wests Magpies, Sydney Uni Lions, UTS Balmain Tigers and Drummoyne Devils

The Australian Waterpolo League Finals Series will be livestreamed via News Corp Australia on Wednesday 6 April, Friday 8 April, Saturday 9 April and Sunday 10 April.
