With the inaugural Australian Youth Water Polo Championships kicking off at Brisbane tomorrow in what will be a two week of festival for the sport, here are 7 things you need to know about the event:
- Number crunch: With over 3000 participants converging on Brisbane, it is the only place to be in January. The event brings together six established national age club championships (the 12&U, 14&U, 16&U and 18&U National Aged Championships) in an event which has 175 teams playing in 756 matches across 5 venues in the heart of Queensland’s capital.
