Applications open for National Men’s Head Coach and Coaching Director

Water Polo Australia are seeking applications from motivated coaches to lead the Australian Men's Water Polo Team through to the Paris Olympic Games in 2024.
This role will provide a dual opportunity to not only coach the Aussie Sharks but to also play a key leadership role in the development and performance of the men’s water polo program in Australia.
The expanded position description calls for a high-quality coach who wishes to influence the system beyond the national team, with a view of building depth and performance sustainability of the coaches and players.
Applicants should provide a single PDF document including:
A CV describing relevant experience at a National team, professional team or elite program level
A proposal of no more than 5 pages outlining the applicant’s vision for the men’s program in Australia, their own coaching philosophy, the key performance drivers and hurdles and how they would optimise the performance of the Australian Men’s Water Polo system for the Paris Olympics and beyond.
The contract will be for the period from October 1 2021 to September 30 2024 (3 years) and will include a probationary period up to and including the scheduled FINA World Championships in May 2022.
