Aussie Sharks squad for 2019 international tour

Water Polo Australia has named the 15-member Aussie Sharks squad that will attend the 2019 FINA World League Super Final and World Championships.

With a little over a year to go until the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games and two major international competitions on the horizon, the Aussie Sharks will also participate in a series of training camps in the next seven weeks.

Starting their tour in Belgrade, the squad will spend a week training with Super Final hosts Serbia. It’s then onto the tournament which will be held in Belgrade from 18-23 June.

The squad will then travel to Croatia for a week-long training camp in Dubrovnik and a mini-tournament training camp in Split.

It’s then off to South Korea for the FINA World Championships and a final four-day training camp against Spain in the capital before the competition is held in Gwangju from 14-28 July.
