WPA CALL FOR EXPRESSION OF INTEREST FOR NOMINATION AS AN ELECTED DIRECTOR CANDIDATE

Water Polo Australia is inviting expressions of interest for the position of Elected Director of the Board of Water Polo Australia.
Water Polo Australia is the peak governing body for the sport of water polo in Australia. There are over 20,000 registered water polo players in Australia and another 9,000 playing in schools.
Expressions of interest are sought from skilled professionals who have a passion for advancing water polo in Australia. Applicants should have one or more of the following attributes:
- Board/Governance Experience
- Business experience
- High performance sport understanding
- Community sport experience
- Financial performance
- Legal
- Marketing and communications
- Government relations
- Diversity
Expressions of interest should be submitted to secretary@waterpoloaustralia.com.au before 5pm (AEDT) on Friday 2 September 2022.
EOIs received will be reviewed by the WPA Nominations Committee and those whose candidacy is recommended will be provided to members no later than seven days prior to the AGM on 19 November 2022.
Those expressing interest should note the nomination process and timelines and respond in their expression of interest to the key attributes sought. Please also attach a copy of your CV with the attached Expression of Interest Form. Those expressing interest will be advised if their candidacy has been recommended.
