Expressions of Interest - WPA Foundation Committee

Water Polo Australia is currently seeking expressions of interest from individuals who are interested in serving as a member of our Board’s newly formed WPA Foundation Committee. This is an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to our organization and its mission.

The WPA Foundation Committee is responsible for providing recommendations to the Board on matters relating to the raising of funds through the WPA Foundation projects and the allocation of raised funds. The Committee will be involved in developing the Foundation projects annually.

Specifically, the Committee has the following responsibilities:

• Review and endorse for Board approval the proposed Foundation projects annually, as submitted by the CEO;
• Review and endorse for Board approval the Foundation project budget as provided by the CEO for inclusion into the full WPA budget for Board approval.
• Make recommendations to the Board in relation to the priority areas for allocation of funds raised through the Foundation projects;
• Review quarterly financial reports in relation to the Foundation activity relating to projects.

WPA are seeking individuals with a passion for water polo, who have experience in running foundations, fundraising programs, coterie clubs and or supporter membership programs and who are committed to supporting our current and future Olympians.

Your expression of interest should include a brief introduction outlining your relevant skills and experience and a statement explaining why you are interested in serving on the WPA Foundation Committee

WPA are seeking to form a committee with a diverse range of views and perspectives, so we encourage anyone with the desires experience to express their interest.
