GIVE WATER POLO A TRY WITH A FREE MEMBERSHIP!

Sport across Australia is starting up again and we want as many people as possible giving Water Polo a shot!
As sport starts to resume across the country, although looking a little different in each State, Water Polo wants to offer people the chance to give water polo a try.
Water Polo Australia (WPA) and the State Associations are offering a free short term membership to any non-members that will cover them through August 31, 2020.
WPA CEO Richard McInnes, said Australians are a nation that thrives on sport and water polo wanted to give people the chance to try the sport for free ahead of what is tipped to be a great summer of sport.
“Water Polo across the country is offering FREE membership until August 31, to make it easier than ever to try our great sport,” said McInnes.
“We know COVID-19 has seen many families cooped up and unable to stay as active… we have also see so many people wanting to get back into team sports.
“It’s our small part we can do as part of the transition out of the pandemic by offering families, particularly those who have been hard hit, the chance to get their children playing sport and enjoying being part of a team.
“We encourage members and prospective members to contact their State Association for more information about programs or competitions that may be commencing between now and the regular summer season.
“A number of our States will run short competitions and events over the next few months and we encourage our current members to bring a friend and introduce a new member to our great game, making use of the free membership offer,” he said.
