The KAP7 Aussie Sharks will return to Newcastle this weekend for their third training camp of 2021.
As the countdown to the Tokyo Olympic Games heats up, the Aussie Sharks preparations continue to intensify.
KAP7 Aussie Sharks Elvis Fatovic said that his squad are tracking well with just over 150 days to go until the Olympic Games.
“The boys have been training hard, in the pool and in the gym and our Olympic preparations are on track,” Fatovic said.
“The boys are looking forward to heading back to Newcastle, they really enjoyed it there earlier this year and it’s a good opportunity for them to train in an intense environment for a few days,” he said.
With the departure of London 2012 Olympian James Clark, and 2016 Olympic Jarrod Gilchrist, the squad has welcomed WA promising young player Luke Pavillard who will join the squad in Newcastle this weekend.
