Men’s U20 Squad named for Selection Camp in September at AIS

The AIS will host some of Australia’s best up and coming male water polo players for a one-week camp in preparation for the FINA World Junior Championships later this year in Kuwait.
The men’s U20 squad will head into camp from 9-13 September at the AIS, which will serve as the final selection camp in the lead up to the World Championships in December.
The squad has been chosen after two selection camps in Perth and Canberra before being whittled down to the final 15 who will attend the September selection.
Head coach Andrew Yanitsas said the camp will be just the beginning of the preparation phase.
“The squad will focus on our gameplay and style of play that we wish to implement in December, before the athlete's head back to their home institutes and continue the hard work there” Yanitsas said.
The FINA World Men’s Junior Championships will be held in Kuwait from 12-20 December.
