Ord Minnett Aussie Stingers backing Swim for Breast Cancer this November

This November, our Ord Minnett Aussie Stingers are championing the National Breast Cancer Foundation, by participating in the Swim for Breast Cancer.
Our Ord Minnett Aussie Stingers will be swimming 9km in November, in honour of the nine women who lose their lives to breast cancer every day.
For Olympic silver medalist Gabi Palm, it's an initiative that she knows is not only close to her but all of her teammates.
“I’m so proud that the Aussie Stingers are getting behind a cause like the National Breast Cancer Foundation,” Palm said.
“Unfortunately, breast cancer is something that we are all too familiar with. I’ll be swimming this November in honour of my grandma Rosey who has survived two bouts of breast cancer.
“I’m also proud to be doing it alongside my teammate Holly Lincoln-Smith, who was a very important part of our squad leading into the Paris Olympic Games, and has also battled with breast cancer.
“The Swim for Breast Cancer is going to be a great challenge, as we’re returning to training following the Paris Olympic Games, and I’d love for our water polo community to get involved,” she said.
While the Ord Minnett Aussie Stingers are banding together to help raise money for the National Breast Cancer Foundation, Palm and her team mates are calling on the water polo community to help get involved.
“We’d love to see as many of our water polo community members getting involved with a cause that’s so important to us,” Palm said.
“Whether that’s getting in the pool and swimming 9km, and challenging yourself, or helping with a donation, let’s make a splash together!” she said.
