OVOAWL | Run home to the finals

Round nine of the OVO Australian Waterpolo League (OVO AWL) signals only two more rounds remain until finals begin at Sydney Olympic Park Aquatic Centre from 3-5 May.
We've decided to take a look at how each Club is placed leading into the last part of season 2019.
ACU Cronulla Sharks
With no fixtures during round nine the ACU Cronulla Sharks men and women will be focused on hosting Fremantle in round 10 before taking on Drummyone Devils and UNSW Wests in their last regular round. With two young teams, the team from Cronulla will be hopeful of a strong finish to 2019.

Drummoyne Devils
With six matches remaining for the Drummoyne Devils, they will play four out of six of these at home against FYFE Adelaide Jets and Fremantle before they wrap up the regular season at Peter Montgomery Pool (Sydney Uni Lions) and the shark tank (ACU Cronulla Sharks).

Fremantle
Round nine represents Fremantle's last games at for 2019 and the 'Freo' the men and women will be eager to give their local fans a fitting farewell, but it won't be easy as they take on two tough Hunter Hurricanes outfits.
Fremantle will then travel to the east coast for a road trip which will see them play six games in six days as part of round 10. They have no scheduled fixtures for round 11.

FYFE Adelaide Jets
Round nine is the last round FYFE Adelaide Jets will be in action for the regular season with both their sides in Sydney for four matches where they will square off with Drummyone Devils and UTS Balmain Tigers.

Hunter Hurricanes
Hunter Hurricanes find themselves on the road in Perth for their round nine clashes against UWA Torpedoes and Fremantle in their last matches for regular competition in 2019.

Queensland Thunder
Queensland Thunder only have two more regular matches to go for season 2019. They will square off against UTS Balmain Tigers in round 10, the Queensland teams will be looking to wrap up their inaugural OVO AWL season at home in style before a potential finals berth for their teams.
The women's fixtures against Balmain will be sure to attract a lot of attention with both sides impressing throughout 2019 and sitting high on the ladder.

Sydney Uni Lions
There are no round nine fixtures for the Sydney Uni Lions who will be eager for round 10 to come around as they begin their last four regular round games all to be played at home in Peter Montgomery Pool against the likes of Fremantle (round 10), Drummyone Devils and UTS Balmain Tigers (round 11).

UNSW Wests
UNSW Wests have one match during round nine with their cross town clash against UTS Balmain Tigers sure to spark old rivalries.
UNSW Wests then have a break from competition in round 10 before diving back in for round 11 for a rematch against UTS Balmain Tigers this time in their home pool before their last regular fixture against ACU Cronulla Sharks.

UTS Balmain Tigers
UTS Balmain Tigers will be in action in every remaining round with seven more matches still to be played as part of their season.
Round nine will see Tigers remain at home to take on FYFE Adelaide Jets and UNSW Wests Magpies, before travelling north for two clashes against Queensland Thunder before rounding out the normal season in round 11 against UNSW Wests and Sydney Uni Lions in two important away matches.

UWA Torpedoes
