Water Polo Australia partners with Hello Period

Water Polo Australia has entered a new and exciting partnership with sustainable period care brand, Hello Period.

The partnership will see Hello Period become WPA’s official period care partner, including promoting and educating the WPA community about the benefits of sustainable period care both for people and the planet.

One of the aims of the partnership is to help growing awareness around how sports people can manage periods comfortably and sustainably while still participating in sport. 

Both WPA and Hello Period, a Certified B Corporation business, are committed to thinking and acting sustainably for Australians living active and healthy lifestyles.

”I used to play water polo when I was at school and remember dreading having to play when I had my period because tampons just filled with pool water and became so uncomfortable,” said Hello Period Co-Founder and CEO Robyn McLean.

The first event and collaboration between WPA and Hello Period  will be at the Australian Youth Water Polo Championships in Brisbane from 5-16 January 2024. There will be a Hello Period on-site activation, giveaways, and exclusive member discounts.
