WATER POLO AUSTRALIA PARTNERS WITH STUDY AND PLAY USA

Water Polo Australia is pleased to partner with Study and Play USA as the preferred USA college pathway provider.

Water Polo Australia will work with Study and Play USA to better track the location and performance of water polo players who have taken the USA college pathway and to be able to recommend to families a trusted company who specialises in the USA college pathway.

Water Polo Australia CEO Richard McInnes said: “We understand the attraction of the US college system to some of our Australian water polo players, and are excited to work closely with Study and Play USA to facilitate athletes moving overseas and monitor their progress.

“The partnership with Study and Play USA will also help us to re-engage such players upon their return to Australia,” he said.

Study and Play USA Director Chris Bates said: “We are excited to collaborate with Water Polo Australia with our aligned focus to provide meaningful pathways to the USA collegiate system for Australian water polo families. 

“The partnership provides families with access to unique opportunities for their sons and daughters to set themselves up for success academically, athletically and personally through this pathway,” he said.

In partnership with Water Polo Australia, Study and Play USA will:

1. Study & Play USA (SPUSA) to provide general guidance in the form of presentations in person at Water Polo Australia events to families and athletes

2. Presentations to participating coaches

3. Educational Webinars 

4. Presence of USA college coaches at these events for recruiting purposes
