WATER POLO AUSTRALIA ANNOUNCES JUNIOR TEAMS FOR NZ TEST MATCH SERIES

Water Polo Australia is pleased to announce Junior Men’s and Women’s teams for the upcoming NZ Test Match Series.

Following the 19&U National State Championships, Australian Junior teams will play in a test match series against New Zealand’s Junior Men’s and Women’s teams

Australian Junior teams have been selected based on player availability, performance at various National Age Group Program camps and tours throughout 2022 as well as the FINA Youth World Championships, 17&U National State Championships and Australian Waterpolo League as well as the desire of the National Selection Panel to evaluate players ahead of the FINA Junior World Championships in 2023.

Following the 19&U National State Championships in December, additional athletes will have an opportunity to be added to the squad as they prepare for the 2023 FINA Junior World Championships.
