Water Polo Australia supports Australian Government's COVIDSafe app

Following the release of the Federal Government's #CovidSafe app, Water Polo Australia is encouraging the community to download the app. This is a major initiative being deployed to help keep the community safe from further spread of coronavirus through early notification of possible exposure.
The contact app launched by the Government, alerts health officials if a person has come into close contact with someone who is diagnosed with the virus, enabling them to then notify people who have been in close contact with someone infected with the virus so they can self-quarantine and be tested.
The Government recognises and understands the immense contribution Sport makes to the physical, psychological and emotional wellbeing of Australians, and downloading the COVIDSafe App puts Australia one step closer to safely returning to sport.
