FINA World Championships
The FINA World Championships forms an important part of the Australian High Performance program, held every two years outside of Olympic Games years.
In 2019 the FINA World Championships will be held in Gwangju, South Korea from July 12-28, 2019.
Famous for its rich and diverse cuisine and culture, Gwangju is a city on the rise. Nestled in the Southwestern part of the Korean Peninsula, the exquisite scenery along the outskirts of the city gives citizens and tourists a peaceful image of the city’s natural surroundings. Water polo schedule will run from 14-27 July, with the medal matches to be held on 26 (women) and 27 (men) July.
