Based in Sydney, the UNSW Wests men's team known as the Magpies and women's team called the Killer Whales will compete in the 2024 Australian Waterpolo League.HISTORY: Both men's (1990) and women's (2004) teams joined their respective competitions in the inaugural season. In that time both have built a strong reputation for their calibre of water polo around the nation. The men’s team have performed consistently throughout the years as demonstrated by four national championships in the past 10 years. While in 2018 the UNSW Wests Killer Whales made the finals series for the very first time in their history and after claiming the minor premiership they went on to claim the gold medal in the same season.
