Water Polo Australia is proud to announce specialist Globalbroker BMS Group as a National Supporter of the 2026 World Aquatics Water Polo World Cup Finals in Sydney.
BMS Group will be prominent on the front shirt of over 100 Junior Mascots, a partner activation that will invite young water polo players across Australia to walk out in front of a patriotic home crowd and experience pre-match national anthems, standing alongside the men’s and women’s teams that qualify for the semi-finals and medal matches at Sydney Olympic Aquatic Centre from Friday 24 July to Sunday 26 July.
The new partnership between Water Polo Australia and BMS Group underscores a shared commitment to celebrate grassroots involvement in the 2026 World Aquatics Water Polo World Cup Finals – the first time this international event has been held on Australia soil – representing a significant milestone towards the LA 2028 and Brisbane 2032 Olympic Games.
The 2026 World Aquatics Water Polo World Cup Finals will feature the world’s top eight men’s and women’s national teams, including the Ord Minnett Aussie Sharks and Aussie Stingers.
Water Polo Australia CEO Tim Welsford said: “We are excited to welcome BMS Group to the Water Polo Australia family. We hope their support of this prestigious global tournament will act as a catalyst for continued support on our journey towards Brisbane 2032.
“The Junior Mascot activation that BMS Group is sponsoring provides a unique experience for the next generation of Australian water polo players to connect with the elite stars of our game. It’s vital to give our fans the opportunity to connect with the Ord Minnett Aussie Sharks and Aussie Stingers outside of an Olympic year”.
BMS Group’s Australian CEO, Andrew Godden said: “We are proud to partner with Water Polo Australia for the World Cup Finals and to support the delivery of a world-class event on home soil.
“Water polo is a sport that reflects discipline, teamwork and resilience — values that strongly align with our own at BMS.
“From supporting elite athletes in the pool to helping our clients navigate risk and opportunity, we are committed to driving performance and success.
“We look forward to cheering on the Australian teams and contributing to the continued growth of the sport in the lead-up to the Brisbane 2032 Olympic Games.”
More information regarding the selection of the BMS Junior Mascots will be announced via WPA channels soon.
