Water Polo Australia is pleased to announce six players have been added to the list for the Australian Women’s Born 2000 squad as they begin their training camp from April 2-7 at the Australian Institute of Sport in Canberra.
The squad will come together as they prepare for the FINA Youth World Championships held between August 27 – September 2 in Belgrade, Serbia.
Australian Head Coach Dusan Damjanovic said it was a great opportunity to bring the squad together.
“Training at the AIS offers us an excellent opportunity to spend time together as a squad training in some of the country’s best facilities.
“The squad will arrive in a good mindset following the 18&U National Aged Championships in Canberra over the Easter long weekend,” he said.
