Our Australian national teams boast a proud history which includes Olympic, World Championship and World Cup medals. The Ord Minnett Aussie Sharks and Aussie Stingers are preparing for the 2026 World Cup Finals in Sydney this July. As well as exciting fans, they continue to inspire a thriving National Pathways Program on the road to Brisbane 2032 and beyond.
Ord Minnett Aussie Sharks
Men’s National Team
One of Australia’s oldest sporting teams, the Aussie Sharks first competed at the Olympic Games in 1948. Tough, talented, and capable of beating any team. They are aiming for another world stage medal at the 2026 World Cup Finals in Sydney.
Ord Minnett Aussie Stingers
Women’s National Team
One of Australia’s most successful national teams, the Aussie Stingers have won four Olympic medals, and the complete set since Sydney 2000. Consistently among the world’s best, they’re chasing more success at the 2026 World Cup Finals in Sydney.

National Development Squads
Australia’s development programs are the pipeline to the Ord Minnett Aussie Stingers and Aussie Sharks. The National Development Squad underpins the Senior National Squad, with ‘train up’ opportunities and increased exposure to national and international environments, better ensuring the development of Ord Minnett Aussie Stingers ‘ready’ athletes.
