Water Polo Australia (WPA) is working with each State Association to help employ new staff members to deliver the new Sport Australia Participation Grant, and Sport Integrity Australia requirements.
The Sport Australia Participation Grant has a specific focus to promote adult participation in water polo, and WPA is pleased to be able to provide direct funding to each State Association to support the employment of a staff member to assist in the delivery.
In addition to this, WPA will also contribute a supplmentary amount to each State Association to assist with the management of Sport Integrity requirements. State Associations are also required to contribute some funding toward the role, and each State can determine the responsibilties of the role.
WPA are pleased to be able to provide this support to our State Associations, as we reaise the importance of supporting participation initiaitives in each state.
