Water Polo Australia has been advised by Luke Pavillard, that he is making himself available to represent Croatia for future international competitions, including World Aquatics Championships and Olympic Games.
Pavillard has decided to make the move after confirming international playing contracts and relocating to Europe to pursue a professional water polo career.
Water Polo Australia General Manager – Performance Andrew Pratley said: “Naturally we are disappointed to lose Luke from our Ord Minnett Aussie Sharks squad. Luke is a great player and has provided a significant contribution to our national program. Whilst disappointed, we wish him well.”
The Ord Minnett Aussie Sharks are currently preparing for the World Aquatics Water Polo World Cup Division 2 in Malta, from 7-13 April 2026.
